Ecopreneur.eu welcomes ELCA as a new member
Ecopreneur.eu welcomes ELCA, the European Landscape Contractors Association, as a new member of the European Sustainable Business Federation. Founded in 1963, ELCA is the European federation representing landscape contractors and green infrastructure professionals. ELCA demonstrates its commitment to sustainability by positioning the landscaping and green infrastructure trade as a key vector for climate resilience, biodiversity and public health, by acting as an EU-level advocate supporting the Green Deal and nature-based solutions, and by operationalising innovation and training in sustainable landscaping practice across its member organisations.
ELCA is our Federation's eleventh member, along with seven national associations, two European ones and our first associated company member. On behalf of our total membership of thousands of companies committed to sustainability – most of them SMEs, Ecopreneur.eu advocates a new economic framework in which sustainability is promoted, the environment respected, and ecological principles are followed.
Arthur ten Wolde, Executive Director of Ecopreneur.eu: "ELCA shares our purpose and vision of creating a sustainable economy. Green infrastructure is at the heart of the circular economy and climate resilience, and by joining our advocacy and adding the voice of Europe's landscaping professionals, ELCA will reinforce the impact of our work at both the EU and national level."
Egbert Roozen, General Secretary of ELCA: "We gladly join Ecopreneur.eu, as our visions on the future of the European economy are aligned and this strengthens our representation in Brussels. By joining forces, we can mutually amplify our messages to influence legislation to the benefit of the sustainable competitiveness of the industry."
