Graduated for Brussels University (Solvay Business School) and Columbia University, Thibaut started his career as manager at Unilever, then at the Belgian Postal Services as head of Sales and Marketing. He founded Igneos, a consulting firm where he is advising Board and Managers in their business strategies. He founded and is chairman of SEA (Sustainable Economy Association). He is advisers and board members in various organisations among which ENERGIRIS a citizen cooperative gathering and investing citizen funds in Energy transition investments in Brussels. Thibaut is also teaching in different Universities in Marketing and Business strategy.

In 2021, Thibaut Georgin was appointed Chairman of the National Railway Company of Belgium (NMBS/SNCB).

Besides his professional consulting and coaching activities, Thibaut likes sailing and walking on long distance treks.
