Exploring EPR for Textiles – Join the EU Circular Talk

When it comes to textiles, the European Commission considers Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) schemes as a regulatory measure to promote sustainable textiles. However, it still remains to be seen whether setting up EPR schemes will become mandatory for all EU Member States and whether criteria for EPR schemes for textiles will be harmonized to overcome diverging approaches at national level.

Join us on September 21 for an EU Circular Talk with industry experts about these and other issues around EPR for textiles. Hosted by the European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform (ECESP) and co-organised by Ecopreneur.eu, this online Circular Talk is designed for any person who has a vested interest in this topic.

There will be two panel discussions, each one followed by reactions from the European Commission, featuring experts like Mathieu Rama (RREUSE), Myriam Tryjefaczka from Tarkett France, Cécile Fèvre (French Ministry of Ecological Transition), Jo Van Landeghem (Circletex), and Stina Wallström (IKEA), to name only a few.
