Ecopreneur.eu policy demands and priorities for the new European Commission

Designed as a strategic blueprint for a “Clean Industrial Deal”, the Draghi report on “The Future of European Competitiveness” offers many constructive ideas. While Ecopreneur.eu endorses its call for significant EU investments in high-potential sectors, we stress the importance of integrating the circular economy for all sectors into that strategy based on clear rules and conditions for allocating these investments.

Prior to the hearings of the designated Commissioners and them taking office, Ecopreneur.eu calls on EU policy makers to continue pursuing the ambitious goals of the European Green Deal and its timely implementation. In a policy paper, we specify our demands and recommendations as input for the “Clean Industrial Deal” and “Circular Economy Act” announced by Ursula von der Leyen for the Commission’s new mandate.
