Ecopreneur.eu welcomes B Lab Europe as a new member
Ecopreneur.eu welcomes B Lab Europe as a new member of the European Sustainable Business Federation. Founded in 2013, B Lab Europe is part of an international network that transforms the global economy through standards, policies, tools, and programmes for businesses and certifies companies — known as B Corps — that meet high standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. B Lab Europe has a community of over 1,900 B Corps in 32 countries across Europe (excluding the U.K.).
B Lab Europe is our Federation’s seventh member along with BNW Germany, Grüne Wirtschaft Austria, MVO Nederland, Coalition Ecopreneur-Kaya (Belgium), Entreprendre Vert (France) and CirEko (Sweden). On behalf of its 5000 associated companies committed to sustainability – most of them SMEs, Ecopreneur.eu advocates a new economic framework in which sustainability is promoted, the environment respected, and ecological principles are followed.
Arthur ten Wolde, Executive Director of Ecopreneur.eu: “As part of the B Lab international network, B Lab Europe shares our vision of an inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economic system for all people and the planet. By joining us in driving policy changes and amplifying credible stories of business as a force for good, B Lab Europe will reinforce the impact of our work and membership at both the EU and national level.”
Juliette Caulkins, Managing Director of B Lab Europe: “Certified B Corporations are part of a global movement for an inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economy. Working closely with Ecopreneur.eu will help us to connect our community with other progressive businesses. Together, we can more fiercely call for enabling policies supporting companies that lead the way in changing not only their sectors but ultimately the entire economic system.”
