Successful ECESP Meeting in the European Parliament

  • January 29, 2020 attended a Circular Economy Breakfast in the European Parliament as a member of the European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform (ECESP) Coordination Group. Stakeholders from civil society, business and policy had an open dialogue and agreed on three crucial elements to create a new economy: Economic Incentives (pricing), Transparency (on producer and consumer side) and Just Transition Mechanisms.

  • January 20, 2020, the European Sustainable Business Federation, welcomes the European Commission’s plans for a European Green Deal with a Circular Economy Action Plan (CEAP). We particularly welcome the inclusion of the circular economy and the recent endorsement of a long-term strategy for climate neutrality by 2050. Depending on its realisation, it can generate strong traction to low-carbon circular products and services.
